  Nestled in the famous Roca Garden in the Haidian District, the Bai Jia Da Yuan Restaurant features exquisite Qing Dynasty decor, a beautiful lush garden setting and nightly performance. The restaurants setting is extraordinary, in the gardens and surrounds of a prince of the Qing dynasty. The gardens are exquisite with dining tables inside and out , some in private rooms. The floorshow features dancers costumed as concubines in brightly patterned silks and authentic traditional Chinese dance said to be from the Qing period. The lanterned entrance avenue is populated by costumed staff, the whole presentation being a feast of colour.

  The imperial cuisine served highlights rare and expensive ingredients that require complex preparation with a focus on plate presentation. Menu items are presented on an iPad with pictures and English descriptions, streamlining the ordering process. The wait-staff is dressed in period clothing, be sure to look at the women's footwear, and give tours of the 300 year old garden. Modeled after Qing Dynasty nobility life, this upscale restaurant attracts visitors from all over the world. It is a feast for the eyes with the lovely gardens and buildings, and the costumes.
